2012 Four friends start organizing neighborhood pickup games
2020 Grew through word of mouth to 7,000+ members
2022 Incorporated as Illinois nonprofit corporation
2025 Expanded partnerships, achieved 501(c)(3) status

Our Model: Community Funds Youth

Every pickup game, every tournament, every community event directly supports youth programming.

We run three programs—NBHD Connect, NBHD Youth, and NBHD Events. Revenue from our community soccer and special events funds youth programming at partner organizations like CPS schools, the YMCA, and Boys & Girls Club.

These organizations need resource injections. We bridge the gap by enhancing what already exists—bite-sized, practical, and scalable. The more you participate, the more we give back.
